Automatic Warehouse for Smaller Components

MOTIVATION

The biggest automobile producer in the Czech Republic needed to design and help with the implementation of a new automatic warehouse for smaller components in Kvasiny.

SOLUTION

We designed and implemented an automatic warehouse which adopted fully automatic solutions from material stocking by the supplier by the material output in sequential order to the assembly line.

CONCLUSION

The implemented solution contains 12 rack stackers and 4 robotic arms and allows the saving of 42 workplaces, making it 26 million CZK/year. The project won an Expert public award in ELA European awards for logistics in 2018.
