How we do it

Logio helps create efficient supply chains. Usually, our work at a new project starts out with identifying places prone to be ‘bottlenecks’: should it be a small warehouse, inefficient production, slow distribution or there is a challenge linked to the expected expansion, we always start with this particular concrete task.

A supply chain is a complicated sequence of events and operations. It cannot be cured just where it hurts the most now. Everything is connected and a problem at the end of a supply chain (say, at a shop with an end customer) could be (and often is) caused by a problem at the beginning, while the product is being produced. Thus, we need to look at the whole chain holistically.

A human brain cannot hold millions of data and all sort of combinations that ultimately lead to finding the cause of the problem. In the first phase of our work, we thus employ smart algorithms based on Big Data and artificial intelligence. All the advanced mathematics then meets in our Supply Chain Love Platform. It combines 30 modules – or, if you will, solutions or apps. These pieces could be put together as Lego blocks to create a perfect solution for a particular client and their problem.

In the next phase, it is time to engage common sense: computers are great in evaluating data, but they still cannot think. Therefore, there is place for our consultants, they add a human touch to the sophisticated analyses. It is only our people who make sense of the results of the data analyses and create a coherent plan for change and improvement.

Work on supply chain never ends. Usually, once we eliminated a problem, the market has changed and we have to face other challenges. However, now we have the platform connected to the clients data, we can respond immediately and find a solution operatively. The cycle therefore starts again. Our tools evaluate results continuously and create new opportunities for change.
